Edgar William Brandt was a French ironworker, Art Deco metalsmith, and prolific weapons designer. In 1901 he established a workshop in Paris where he mastered decorative ironwork, producing exquisite architectural pieces including embassy doors, stair railings, and ornamental commissions for prestigious institutions. He became one of the most celebrated ironworkers of the Art Deco period, blending fine craftsmanship with bold decorative design.
