Conrad Marca-Relli

Marca-Relli pioneered collage painting with cut and torn canvas fragments assembled into abstract compositions that suggested figurative forms. His innovative technique and monumental scale made him an important Abstract Expressionist. He is collected by MoMA, the Whitney, and the Met.
