Albert Gleizes (1881, 1953) was a French painter, art theorist, and co-founder of Cubism, known for his geometric fragmentation of form and rhythmic compositions. He co-authored 'Du Cubisme' (1912) with Jean Metzinger, one of the first theoretical texts on the movement. His work evolved toward a spiritual abstraction rooted in Cubist principles, influencing generations of modern artists.
