2016
This work by Hagar Vardimon demonstrates her distinctive technique of combining threads with photographic imagery. The artist creates a distorted, fragmented effect by weaving threads through a photographic print of a figure in an outdoor setting. Vardimon's work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including Robert Mann Gallery in New York, Scope Art Miami, and the Schneider Museum of Art in Oregon. She won the D&AD award for The New York Times Magazine Special Issue Covers in 2019.
