Two companion works by pioneering kinetic and optical artist Yaacov Agam, *Fond Marin I* and *Fond Marin II* employ his signature poliforme mixed technique, combining oil paint with sculptural relief on paper to create dynamic, multi-dimensional surfaces. The layered ridges and vibrant colors interact with shifting light and the viewer's movement, causing the compositions to transform and reveal new visual information from different vantage points. Evoking the fluid, shimmering depths suggested by their marine-inspired titles, these works exemplify Agam's lifelong exploration of time, movement, and the ever-changing nature of perception.
