Timur Novikov

Novikov was a painter and cultural figure who founded the New Academy, promoting neo-classical aesthetics in post-Soviet Russia. His work combined classical beauty with queer sensibility and contemporary media. He influenced a generation of St. Petersburg artists and exhibited internationally.
