Rupert Jasen Smith (1956, 1991) was an American artist best known for his close collaboration with Andy Warhol, producing silkscreen prints that extended Warhol's visual language and workshop practice. Working out of Warhol's Factory, Smith helped execute and develop numerous print editions, blending the aesthetics of Pop Art with bold graphic imagery. His contributions to the silkscreen medium and his association with the Factory made him a notable figure in the late print culture of the 1980s New York art world.
