Kassay creates minimalist silver paintings made by coating canvas with a metallic film, creating reflective, monochrome surfaces. His work examines painting as object and commodity within contemporary art markets. He has exhibited at MoMA PS1, the 2010 Whitney Biennial, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland.
