Gregor Schneider

Gregor Schneider creates architectural installations and interventions, most famously "Haus u r," his continuously reconstructed family home with rooms built within rooms. His claustrophobic, uncanny spaces explore themes of confinement, death, and psychological disturbance. He won the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale in 2001.
