Carla Accardi

Accardi was a pioneering abstract painter who co-founded the Forma 1 group and later developed her signature style using transparent plastic supports called Sicofoil. She created bold geometric compositions with vibrant colors that challenged postwar Italian painting conventions. Her work is held by MAXXI, Tate, and MoMA.
