Dimitri Hadzi

Dimitri Hadzi (1921, 2006) was an American sculptor known for his monumental bronze works that blended classical influences with modernist abstraction. He spent formative years in Rome, where he developed a distinctive style drawing on ancient Mediterranean art, mythology, and organic forms. His large-scale public sculptures are found in prominent locations across the United States, and he was a longtime professor at Harvard University.
