Carlos Amorales

Amorales is a multidisciplinary artist working in installation, video, drawing, and performance, often exploring language, identity, and Mexican popular culture. His projects like 'Black Cloud' (featuring thousands of black paper moths) and animated films create enigmatic visual systems. He has exhibited at the Tate Modern, Stedelijk Museum, and represented Mexico at the Venice Biennale.
