Alessandro Allori (1535, 1607) was an Italian painter of the late Mannerist Florentine school, known for his meticulous technique and sophisticated use of color. A pupil and adopted son of Agnolo Bronzino, he carried on the refined Mannerist tradition in Florence, producing religious works, portraits, and mythological scenes. He was one of the most prominent painters in Florence during the late 16th century, with works found in major churches and collections throughout Tuscany.
