Aaron Young creates large-scale paintings, sculptures, and performances that investigate violence, masculinity, and abstraction through gestural marks made by motorcycles, firearms, and body movements. His work engages with action painting and Abstract Expressionism through physical, often destructive processes. He has exhibited at the Rockefellar Center and Deitch Projects.
