Oliver Laric's *Schengen Visa Hologram* consists of tamper-evident security hologram stickers—the kind affixed to official EU travel documents—arranged on acrylic glass and sealed with a clear coating. By isolating and recontextualizing these bureaucratic authentication devices as art objects, Laric draws attention to the material language of border control and state authority. The work interrogates how legitimacy and identity are constructed through seemingly mundane security technologies.
