Epson Durabrite inkjet on book page
Wade Guyton's work blurs the boundary between mechanical reproduction and artistic intention, using an Epson inkjet printer as his primary tool to disrupt and transform existing printed matter. In this piece, the artist runs a book page through the printer, allowing the machine's output — streaks, glitches, and pooling ink — to overwrite and collide with the original text or imagery. The result is a meditation on authorship, technology, and the tension between the analog and digital in contemporary image-making.
