"Sendero Luminoso" by Iván Navarro is an immersive installation constructed from light bulbs, aluminium, and mirror, in which radiant artificial light is reflected and multiplied into seemingly infinite corridors of luminescence. The work's title — Spanish for "Shining Path" — evokes the notorious Peruvian militant group, charging the glowing, seductive spectacle with a dark political undercurrent. Navarro transforms the raw materials of industry and illumination into a meditation on power, violence, and the deceptive allure of ideological promise.
