Victor Charreton

Victor Charreton (1864–1936) was a French Post-Impressionist painter celebrated for his vibrant landscape paintings, particularly winter and autumn scenes rendered with bold, expressive brushwork. He was closely associated with the Lyon school of painting and exhibited widely during his lifetime, gaining recognition for his luminous depictions of snow-covered fields and rural countryside. His works regularly appear at auction and are held in numerous French regional museum collections.
