Paul Evans

Paul Evans (1931–1987) was an American studio furniture maker and sculptor celebrated for his inventive use of welded steel, bronze, and mixed metals in functional art pieces. His work, often produced in collaboration with Dorsey Reading, blurred the boundaries between sculpture and furniture, earning him recognition as a pioneering figure in the American craft movement. Evans's dramatic, textured surfaces and bold geometric forms made his pieces highly sought after by collectors and major auction houses worldwide.
