Paavo Tynell

Paavo Tynell (1890, 1973) was a Finnish designer and metalsmith renowned for his exquisite lighting fixtures produced through Taito Oy, the Finnish decorative arts company he led for decades. His luminaires are celebrated for their intricate handcrafted metalwork, often incorporating perforated brass, organic forms, and delicate floral motifs that softly diffuse light.
