Olga Albizu (1924, 2005) was a Puerto Rican abstract painter celebrated for her vibrant, sensuous compositions that blended lyrical abstraction with rich color harmonies. Trained under Hans Hofmann in New York, she developed a distinctive style characterized by fluid forms and luminous hues that evoked emotion and movement. She gained wider public recognition when her paintings were featured on RCA Victor record album covers in the 1950s and 1960s, bringing her work to a broad audience beyond the traditional gallery world.
