Lee Dongi

Lee Dongi is a South Korean contemporary artist best known for his 'Atomaus' character, a hybrid figure combining the iconic imagery of Astro Boy (Atom) and Mickey Mouse, which he began developing in the 1990s. His work critically engages with the pervasive influence of global pop culture, consumerism, and media saturation, blending Eastern and Western cultural symbols into a distinctive visual language.
