Kaz Oshiro creates trompe-l'oeil paintings on stretched canvas over wooden armatures that perfectly replicate objects like amplifiers, refrigerators, and dumpsters. His hyperrealistic sculptures question the boundaries between painting and object. He exhibits with Kavi Gupta Gallery and has shown at the Hirshhorn Museum.
