Jeremy Deller creates participatory projects, films, and interventions that explore British social history, class, and popular culture. He won the Turner Prize in 2004 and represented Britain at the 2013 Venice Biennale, winning the British Pavilion prize. His work includes "The Battle of Orgreave" re-enactment and is held by the Tate and the British Council.
