Guy Carleton Wiggins (1883, 1962) was an American Impressionist painter best known for his atmospheric depictions of New York City streets in winter, capturing the bustle of urban life beneath snow-laden skies. The son of artist Carleton Wiggins, he studied at the National Academy of Design and became a member of the National Academy. His vibrant, loose brushwork and luminous palette made him one of the most celebrated American Impressionists of the early twentieth century.
