Eduard Gorokhovsky

Eduard Gorokhovsky (1950–2012) was a Russian-born artist who worked primarily in photography-based art, painting, and conceptual works, often exploring themes of memory, identity, and Soviet-era cultural experience. He was associated with the Moscow Conceptualism movement and later emigrated to Germany, where he continued to develop his practice blending photographic imagery with painterly interventions. His work is recognized for its layered examination of personal and collective history, drawing on found photographs and archival materials.
