Clarence Hudson White (1871–1925) was an American pictorialist photographer and influential educator who played a central role in elevating photography as a fine art. Known for his soft-focus, luminous images often depicting domestic life, women, and children in naturalistic settings, he was a founding member of the Photo-Secession alongside Alfred Stieglitz. White later established the Clarence H. White School of Photography in New York, shaping a generation of commercial and artistic photographers.
