Antonietta Brandeis was a Czech-born Italian painter active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, celebrated for her luminous landscapes and vedute of Italy, particularly scenes of Naples, Rome, and the Amalfi Coast. She spent much of her career in Italy, becoming a naturalized Italian citizen, and her works were widely collected and reproduced as chromolithographs for the tourist trade. Her paintings are characterized by their vivid light, meticulous detail, and romantic depictions of Italian coastal and rural scenery.
