Salomé creates Neo-Expressionist paintings featuring androgynous figures, self-portraits, and mythological themes with intense color and dramatic composition. A member of Berlin's Neue Wilde movement, his work addresses sexuality and identity, and has been exhibited at institutions including Martin-Gropius-Bau. His theatrical self-presentation and provocative imagery made him a central figure in 1980s Berlin art.
