Frank Walter

Frank Walter (1926–2009) was an Antiguan artist, writer, and polymath whose extraordinarily prolific and multidisciplinary practice remained largely unknown during his lifetime. Working in isolation on the island of Antigua, he produced thousands of paintings, drawings, and writings across genres including landscape, portraiture, and philosophical meditations. His rediscovery and the posthumous exhibition of his work brought widespread international recognition, cementing his status as one of the Caribbean's most significant and singular artistic voices.
