Thierry De Cordier is a painter and sculptor known for dark, atmospheric seascapes and landscapes executed in monochromatic palettes that evoke Romantic sublime. His paintings depict turbulent waters and stormy skies with gestural, expressionistic brushwork. His work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale and is held in collections including S.M.A.K. and the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium.
