Pang Jiun

Pang Jiun (born 1936) is a Taiwanese painter known for his distinctive fusion of Eastern and Western artistic traditions, particularly combining Chinese ink painting sensibilities with modernist and expressionist influences. He studied in both Taiwan and Europe, and his work is celebrated for its lyrical abstraction, bold brushwork, and evocative use of color. Pang is considered a significant figure in postwar Taiwanese art, with his works frequently appearing in major Asian auction markets.
