Lorser Feitelson

Lorser Feitelson was a painter who pioneered Hard-edge painting in California, creating biomorphic abstractions and later geometric works with precise color relationships. He was a founding member of the Abstract Classicists and influenced generations of California artists. His work is held in LACMA, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and major collections.
