Hovsep Pushman was an American artist of Armenian background renowned for his contemplative still lifes and sensitive portraits of women, often depicted in exotic dress. He maintained a long and distinguished association with the Grand Central Art Galleries in New York, which represented him from its founding in 1922 until his death in 1966.
