Eduardo Kingman Riofrío (1913, 1997) was one of Ecuador's most celebrated painters, known for his powerful depictions of indigenous people and social struggles. His expressionist style featured elongated hands and figures, vivid colors, and a deep humanist concern for the marginalized and oppressed. Alongside Oswaldo Guayasamín, he is considered a defining figure of Ecuadorian muralism and social realism in Latin American art.
