Abdulhalim Radwi (1939–2010) was a pioneering Saudi Arabian artist widely regarded as one of the founding fathers of modern art in Saudi Arabia. He studied art in Italy and Egypt, bringing Western modernist techniques to the Arabian Peninsula while infusing his work with Arabic calligraphy, Islamic geometric patterns, and themes rooted in his cultural heritage.
