Gabriella Crespi

Gabriella Crespi (1922–2017) was an Italian designer and artist celebrated for her elegant, nature-inspired objects and furniture that blended Eastern philosophy with refined Italian craftsmanship. She rose to prominence in the 1970s with her iconic bamboo furniture, brass objects, and transformable pieces that became highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts. After a period of spiritual retreat, she returned to design in her later years, and her work has experienced a dramatic resurgence at major auction houses including Christie's, Sotheby's, and Phillips.
