Walead Beshty's *Photographic Paper* investigates the materiality of photography itself, treating light-sensitive paper as both subject and medium. The work foregrounds the physical and chemical processes inherent to photographic production, exposing the often-invisible infrastructure of image-making. By stripping away conventional representation, Beshty invites viewers to reconsider photography not as a window onto the world, but as a tangible, mutable object in its own right.
