Tomm El-Saieh is a Haitian-American painter born in 1984 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, who grew up between Haiti and the United States. His large-scale abstract paintings draw on the spiritual traditions of Vodou, collective memory, and the layered histories of the Caribbean, building dense fields of color and form through an accumulative, meditative process. El-Saieh has gained significant international recognition, with works exhibited at major institutions and sold through leading auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's.
