Susan Meiselas

Susan Meiselas is an American documentary photographer and photojournalist best known for her groundbreaking coverage of the Nicaraguan Revolution in the late 1970s and her long-term projects documenting human rights issues, conflict, and identity around the world. She has been a member of the Magnum Photos agency since 1976 and is celebrated for her deeply humanistic approach, combining rigorous reportage with a commitment to giving voice to marginalized communities.
