Studio Job

Studio Job is a Belgian-Dutch design duo founded by Job Smeets (born 1970) and Nynke tynagel, known for creating highly ornate, narrative-driven objects that blur the boundaries between design, fine art, and craft. Their work is characterized by maximalist aesthetics, dark humor, and elaborate decorative motifs drawn from historical and cultural references, executed in materials such as bronze, gold-plated metals, and enamel. Since establishing the studio in Antwerp in 2000, they have become celebrated figures in the collectible design world, with works acquired by major museums and prominent collectors internationally.
