Gamarra creates paintings and installations that critique art historical canons, colonial legacies, and museum representation through her fictional LiMAC (Lima Museum of Contemporary Art) project. Her appropriations and reimaginings of European masterworks from Latin American perspectives question institutional power. She exhibits internationally and is based in Madrid.
