Paul Guiragossian

Paul Guiragossian (1926–1993) was a Lebanese-Armenian painter renowned for his emotionally charged figurative works depicting elongated human forms, often representing refugees, mothers, and the displaced. His distinctive style blended expressionism with a deeply personal humanitarian vision rooted in his own experience as a child survivor of the Armenian Genocide. He is considered one of the most celebrated and influential artists in Lebanese modern art history.
