Michel Corneille the Younger (1642–1708) was a French Baroque painter and draughtsman, son of Michel Corneille the Elder, who trained under Charles Le Brun and later studied in Rome. He became a member of the Académie Royale de Peinture et de Sculpture and was known for his religious and mythological compositions, as well as his decorative work at Versailles and other royal residences. His works frequently appear at auction in the form of old master drawings and paintings, valued for their refined draughtsmanship and Italianate influence.
