Mary Blood Mellen (1817–1882) was an American landscape painter closely associated with the Luminist movement, known for her serene coastal and marine scenes. She was a student and close associate of Fitz Henry Lane, whose influence is evident in her calm, light-suffused compositions depicting the New England coastline. Her works have appeared at major American auction houses and are held in private and public collections.
