Margaretta Angelica Peale (1795, 1882) was an American still life painter and member of the renowned Peale family of artists, one of the most prominent artistic dynasties in early American history. She was a daughter of James Peale and niece of Charles Willson Peale, and is best known for her delicate and precise depictions of fruit, particularly berries and cherries. Though she exhibited less prolifically than some of her relatives, her work is celebrated for its refined technique and contribution to the American still life tradition.
