Kay Bojesen (1886, 1958) was a Danish silversmith and designer celebrated for his elegant yet functional objects that bridged fine craftsmanship and everyday life. Trained under Georg Jensen, he went on to develop his own distinctive aesthetic rooted in simplicity and warmth, most famously creating the iconic wooden monkey toy in 1951. His works, ranging from sterling silver cutlery to whimsical wooden figurines, remain highly sought after at auction and are considered benchmarks of Scandinavian design.
