Hermann Corrodi

Hermann Corrodi (1844–1905) was a Swiss-Italian painter renowned for his luminous Orientalist landscapes and scenes of Egypt, the Middle East, and Italy. He trained in Rome and became one of the most celebrated European painters of Eastern subjects, attracting prestigious patrons including European royalty.
