Graciela Sacco (1956, 2017) was an Argentine conceptual artist known for her politically engaged work that addressed social inequality, migration, and human rights. She pioneered the use of heliography, a photographic printing technique, to transfer images onto unconventional surfaces such as spoons, doors, and everyday objects, creating powerful installations that blurred the boundaries between public and private space. Sacco represented Argentina at the Venice Biennale and exhibited internationally, earning recognition as a significant voice in Latin American contemporary art.
