Gino Sarfatti (1912–1985) was an influential Italian lighting designer and manufacturer, widely regarded as one of the most important figures in 20th-century industrial and decorative design. Founder of Arteluce in Milan in 1939, he pioneered a functional yet sculptural approach to lighting, creating over 400 lamp designs that blended technical innovation with modernist aesthetics. His work is celebrated for its elegant engineering, use of new materials, and its profound influence on subsequent generations of Italian designers.
